• Refreshments will not be provided; attendees are encouraged to bring their own water bottle if needed.
• Attendees will be able to find the documents for the meeting at www.oxfordwinds.ca in the coming weeks to either print and bring with them or to view on a device (tablet, laptop or smartphone) during the meeting. If you are attending and require printed copies of the reports, please let us know with your RSVP. 

Elections for the Board of Directors will be held at the AGM. Nominations are now being accepted.

We do have vacancies on the Board for the upcoming year. Should you wish to join the Board or nominate someone for the Board, please complete and submit a nomination form to info@oxfordwinds.ca (or by mail) no later than 6:30pm on July 21, 2021. Open positions are: Vice President, Treasurer, and Directors at Large.

Elections for the board of directors will be held at the AGM. This week, the board of directors met (virtually) and had to make some tough decisions. Given the current situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and directives from all levels of government, the board unanimously decided to cancel the remainder of the season for the Oxford Winds and Oxford Breeze.

There will be no further rehearsals, performances, or social gatherings until at least September, 2020. At this point in time, we have every intention of launching a new and amazing season for 2020/2021.

The board is still reviewing plans and dates for our Annual General Meeting, and more information will come regarding that event.

We’re busy working hard to put together our next concert this May – Adventures with the Winds! So get ready to have an adventure with the Oxford Winds! Featuring exciting music that will take you through space and time, around the world, and deep into folklore. You’ll soar, dive, and dance all evening long.

When: May 8th at 7:30pm
Where: St David’s United Church, 190 Springbank Ave, Woodstock
Tickets: $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Children 12 and under are free.

Part of our mission is to help educate and provide opportunities to musicians in Oxford County. Each year the band recognizes and contributes to the future education of a local student pursuing an education in music with The Oxford Winds Award.

Who’s eligible: All graduating high school students in Oxford County who will be continuing their musical education at the post-secondary level are eligible to apply. Deadline for the 2020 award is April 30th at 5pm.
