Save the date and get into the festive spirit with us on Friday November 24th! Concert begins at 7:30 at Knox Church in Woodstock (59 Riddell St).

Advance tickets are $10 – $15 at the door with children under twelve free.

2023-2024 Season Begins!

Our summer hiatus is nearly finished, and registration is now open for our 2023-2024 season! We’re looking for brass, woodwind, and percussion musicians of all ages and skill levels to join the Oxford Winds Community Concert Band for weekly in-person rehearsals. Rehearsals are held each Thursday evening starting September 21st in Woodstock – but we welcome members from anywhere in Oxford County and beyond.

To register, complete this form and send it, along with your registration fee, to by September 17, 2023. We’ll confirm your registration and provide the rehearsal location details prior to September 21st.

AGM July 2023

We will be hosting our Annual General Meeting on Thursday, July 27th at 7:00pm at the Southside Aquatic Centre Meeting Room (315 Finkle Street, Woodstock).

Oxford Breeze Novice Conductor Wanted

Are you a musician looking to be part of our volunteer organization who provides performance opportunities to brass and woodwind players in Oxford County? Our growing bands include over 30 members of all ages and skill levels who are dedicated to playing music together in an exciting and inclusive environment! 

We are seeking a dynamic conductor for our novice band, the Oxford Breeze, beginning September 2023 in Woodstock, Ontario. The successful candidate will run one-hour weekly evening rehearsals, select music, and conduct several evening performances from September to June.


  • Knowledge of woodwind and brass instruments 
  • 2+ years conducting/teaching experience with novice woodwind/brass players preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong group management skills
  • Experience working with a volunteer organization
  • Connection to the Oxford County community an asset

Adventures with the Winds

Join us for our first in-person Spring concert since 2019! This adventure-themed concert will take you sailing across the seas and climbing the highest mountains – with some popular recognizable movie and TV themes, as well as a selection of classical arrangements. 

Adventures with the Winds will be held at 7:30pm on May 12 at St. David’s United Church in Woodstock. 

Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door, with children 12 and under attending for free.

Welcome back to rehearsals!

We are thrilled to announce that we plan to return to in-person, indoor rehearsals for the 2022-2023 season! 

Registration is now open for brass, woodwind, and percussion musicians to sign up for our novice, intermediate and senior level bands for this season. If you are interested in joining us this year, please complete our registration form and send us an email at We welcome musicians of all ages and skill levels! 

Weekly rehearsals will be held in Woodstock on Thursday evenings. We look forward to seeing everyone again this season!
